New Vintage Finds

Thrifting has been a little bleak the last couple of weeks. But, I did find a really neat thrift store in the next town over from me. That place was awesome! I found some things as low as 15 cents!
I also happened to go on 20% off day!
Kitschy piggy, .25.
Kitschy kitty, 1.00.
Turkish coffee pots, 1.00 a piece.
Milk glass vase, .15.
I found these lovely Woodland Pyrex mugs for .15 a piece!!! :)
Cupcake S&P shakers, 2.00.
Vintage pillowcases, .15 a piece.
I found this fireplace candle thingy at a yard sale for, 2.00.

I hope everyone is having a fun, thrifty weekend!

Fun finds! Aw, I remember when garage sales meant 10 cent items. I still find them here and there! My guess is you got a good deal on that fireplace thingy! :)

How can a thrift store even stay open when it charges 15c for something! It's more than worth the gas to get there!

Hi Denise-
Me again :)
I feel so bad...I just realized that I have an email from you that's a few weeks old. I can't reply though. Can you reply to this with an email address that I can reach you at? Wondering if you have surgery coming up too.

I thought the same thing Tammy! I realized the other day when I passed said thrift store, they are much like a Goodwill. They are run off of a donation system there...as opposed to a booth rental.
The ladies who run it are mother and daughter. They have different % off days during the week. They even have 50 cent day when majority of all items are 50 cents!!!
I've driven passed there for a long time but never realized they had household items. I've only ever seen baby clothes and toys in their front window display. Just goes to show...never judge a thrift store by their window display!
I can't wait to visit them again!

You found some cute things. I love the coffee mugs. I can't believe the pillowcases were that cheap-they get 14$ for them here. Yours are so pretty!
