More Festival Finds & A Special Giveaway

Good morning my bloggy buddies!
I have more finds to share with you from the fun day I spent at Glendale Crossing Festival last weekend!
Last night I realized how much I actually got that day. AND...without making a trip to
my truck to drop off a load. Lol!
I FINALLY finished my Primary Pyrex nesting bowls collection.
I've had the 404 and 403 for quite some time. I found
the 402 and 401 for $2 each!
Pyrex Butterfly Gold butter dish, 2.50.
My first butter dish!
403 Pyrex Spring Blossom nesting bowl, 3.00.
472 Pyrex Snowflake Blue round casserole, 3.25.
My first piece of Snowflake Blue!
Vintage red topped S&P shakers, 99.
Vintage Gemco syrup dispenser, .99.
501 Pyrex Butterprint fridgie w/ lid, 4.00.
This is my 2nd I just need the 503!
This beautiful milk glass plate now hangs in my kitchen. There are no markings on the back.
Any idea who made this?
You would not believe the amount of money I paid for these Vintage Libbey Santa Claus glasses.
.25 a piece!!!!!
Now I need the matching tray :)
Vintage General Electric kitchen clock, 5.00.

As of yesterday, I reached over 100 followers. So, what better way to celebrate than to have a giveaway!
This is a very special giveaway because I am giving away Fire King Jadeite.
Yes, you read that correctly...Jadeite.
You may be asking yourself, "is she nuts to give that away?!!!"
My way! When I first started this blog I had NO idea I would be as dedicated to it as I am now. Nor did I think that I'd have followers.
Every one of you has brightened my day at some point in time. And with the crazy year I've had, this blog has given me happiness. For that, I thank you tremendously!
You have a chance to win a vintage doggy, vintage hankie and Fire King Jadeite Jane Ray teacup set.
The rules to this giveaway are simple:

-You MUST be a follower of my blog
-Comment telling me how blogging has enriched your life
That's it!
If you blog about this giveaway on yours, leave an additional comment telling me so and I'll throw your name in for a 2nd chance!
Easy enough, right?
My sweet little step daughter, Taylor...
will be drawing a winner November 1st.
Good luck and Happy Thrifting!

Like I told you the other day, I so wish I lived closer so I could have gone to this festival with you! I can't believe the prices on the Pyrex. Way better than thrift stores. I started blogging in Janurary. It has definitely woken up a creative gene that I didn't know I had. But my favorite thing about blogging is all the amazing people that I have "met" along the way. I feel like I have made some real, lifelong friends.

Well to start of Miss Taylor is just darling! And I sure loved all the wonderful Vintage goodies you found. Now the answer to your question, I think blogging has made be realize that I'm not alone in this big old world... that there are other woman much like myself that find it thrilling when they run across the perfect Vintage pyrex... and when the asking price is $2 my blogging buddies get it!

Great prices on your finds! Those glasses! My goodness! So kitchy cute.

So sweet of you to have a give away. I don't own any Jadite so that would be great! Thanks for a chance to win!

Blogging has enriched my crafting, collecting and decorating because I no longer do it alone- I do it with my bloggy friends! ♥

You have found some really great items. Always love Pyrex but the Christmas glasses are a fabulous find! I love the jadeite cup and saucer what an amazing giveaway! I am just celebrating my 3 year blog anniversary and I think blogging has really opened up a new world to me. I've 'met' so many new friends and shared so much with them. The good, the bad and the ugly. Taken trips and shared births and deaths together. I'm a follower of your blog and really am enjoying getting to know you. Hugs, Linda

What a great giveaway! I think blogging has been a way to talk to people who "get me" when no one else seems to. What a great online community of junkers will do for your soul!

Oh my gosh those Sants glasses are so cute!
Congrats on reaching 100 followers! As for the ways in which blogging has enriched my life, they are numerous!
This year has been quite difficult. Having to move back in with my parents because of health issues and needing surgery. Blogging has given me a whole new group of friends! And best of all, they are women who have the same passion for VINTAGE and art, and crafting as I do!
My new friends have been one of the best parts of my day!
Hope YOU having a great day!
Erica :)

You were lucky finding so many Pyrex things at those prices. All i have seen were rather pricey. Some lucky winner of your giveaway should be very pleased.

How lovely! I've never found jadeite in the wild and it's a little out of my price range ordinarily, but I would be ECSTATIC to win this giveaway! Your blog is always so inspirational and really delightful to peruse! Thanks! :)

This is such a sweet giveaway - I was at a fair this past weekend and a certain booth made me think of your blog! I do appreciate your generous giveaway,

Awesome idea!

First, I must say I have only blogged for about 1 month and it has been great! But it enriched my life because I love the fact that everyone has the same interest as me, and to get comments on how my shopping went or they can't wait to see what I found really makes my day! I enjoy seeing what other's have found and also look forward to going onto blogger every day and to see all of their lovely comments is really something!

I started blogging in 2008 and haven't looked back since!

You get to meet wonderful people, share with them, get to see their collections, show off yours.

It's a great way to socialize and make miles disappear.

I don't have a blog, but I do love reading them. Like other commenters have mentioned, it is so nice to have a community of people who have the same interests as I do. I love old things, I am addicted to vintage pyrex-but no one I know in my daily life shares those interests. So it is wonderful for me to connect with people who love the same things I do, and are kind enough to blog and post pictures of their treasures!

I love blogging and it has enriched my life by providing a fun activity where I can meet people and get inspired. I love searching blogs for recipes, holiday ideas and enjoying fellow bloggers vintage finds! I am also going to put a link to my blog, to let other's know about your giveaway! Thanks for the opportunity and I really need to do a give away at some point too!

What great finds. How lucky is that you found all that yummy pyrex. I would so love to win your give away. Hope I am not to late.

Oh girl what treasures you found and for terrific prices. I am learning alot about Pyrex from you. I have just started collecting and have been lucky to find quite a few. I found a wheat casserole today for $2. The lid is missing so I will keep my eyes out. I don't know all of the names and I didn't know that they had numbers. A while ago I found a gravy/syrup boat and tray at a local thrift that is the gold butterfly design. I'm thinking that you need it to go with your butter dish. I picked it up because I thought it was so cute but I would love to send it to you if you give me your address. My favorites are the aqua/white Butterprint Pyrex because my is red, green, and aqua. So happy that blogging has been so rewardful for you. Darn sad that I missed your give away. Love, love Jadite! Although all I own is a set of measuring cups. Well, I've ranted long enough. Thanks for sharing all of your treasures with Share Your Cup.
